Established with the vision of bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, ARTI – Ayurveda Finishing School has been a pioneering initiative by Dr. Sreevaths since 1998. This program aims to equip fresh Ayurveda graduates with hands-on practical skills necessary to excel in their professional endeavors. Over 100 Ayurveda doctors, including foreign nationals, have benefited from ARTI’s training.
The Ayurveda Finishing School at Svasthyakshetram offers a comprehensive three-month course designed specifically for recent Ayurveda graduates. The program focuses on providing practical training, exposing participants to realistic clinical situations, and empowering them to effectively manage an Ayurveda clinic, offering problem-oriented treatments.
In many Ayurveda colleges, there is a gap in theory and practical training due to various reasons. Many times the fresh graduate finds himself in a scary situation due to lack of exposure to practical implementation of ayurvedic concepts. The situation in Kerala stands out as a unique example that could be adopted universally. Kerala’s Ayurvedic physicians are well-versed in various Ayurvedic branches, providing a robust foundation for practical application.
Ayurvedic prescriptions often include therapies that patients find challenging to comprehend and follow. Equipping Ayurvedic doctors with in-depth knowledge about formulas, preparation methods, therapies, indications, contraindications, and complication management is crucial for effective patient care.
