Extension Activities

Extension Activities

At Svasthyakshetram, we offer a variety of extension activities to engage with the community and promote the benefits of ayurveda for holistic well-being. Through these extension activities, we aim to uphold the principle of Dharma, which is the ethical duty and moral responsibility of every individual to contribute to the harmony and welfare of oneself and others. Dharma is one of the core values of ayurveda, along with Satya (truth), Ahimsa (non- violence) and Aparigraha (non-attachment). By following Dharma, we can achieve balance and harmony in our body, mind and spirit, as well as in our relationship with nature and society.

Soukhya Medical Camps

Soukhya medical camps are a social initiative of our Ayurvedic centre to provide free health care and wellness services to the underprivileged sections of society. Every week, we conduct these camps at our centre and at Agraharam, Nallepilly, where our qualified doctors offer consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and counselling to the needy. We also distribute medicines and herbal products to the patients. Our aim is to spread the benefits of Ayurveda and holistic healing to everyone, especially those who cannot afford it otherwise.

Suvidya

Suvidya is a tuition class for school students who want to improve their academic performance and learn new skills. This is a joint initiative of Ayurvedic Health Care Centre Nallepilly and Lions Club of Kozhinjampara, with the aim of providing quality education to the underprivileged children in our locality.

Suvidya is not just a regular tuition class. It is a holistic learning program that incorporates the principles of Ayurveda and Lionism. We believe that education is not only about acquiring knowledge, but also about developing the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the students. That is why we have designed Suvidya to offer a balanced curriculum that covers academic subjects as well as life skills, moral values and cultural awareness.

One of the unique features of Suvidya is that it adopts a playful learning approach. We use games, activities, stories and songs to make learning fun and engaging for the students. We also encourage them to express their creativity and curiosity through various projects and experiments. Our aim is to foster a love of learning in the students and help them discover their talents and passions.

Another important aspect of Suvidya is that it is based on the concept of vidyadaana, which means the gift of education. We believe that education is the most precious gift that one can give to another, as it empowers them to achieve their dreams and contribute to the society. That is why we have made Suvidya a free service for the students who need it the most. We also invite volunteers from our campus and community to join us as teachers, mentors, and friends for the students. We hope that through Suvidya, we can create a bond of mutual respect and gratitude between the givers and receivers of education.
